Already 1 month old....

We can't believe our little one is 1 month old. the last couple of weeks have been much better; Daddy and Mommy are starting to get better at reading the little baby crys.
Mommy is starting to feel better.... In this photo we got her ready for the nice warm day.

Makena will be 3 weeks tomorrow!!! I'm really enjoying the funny faces this week... Shes starting to become her own little person....

Daddy went back to work....... we already miss him... trying to keep ourselves busy while he is away.

Almost 2 weeks old!!!

Mommy was having fun taking shots while Makena sits with a nice full tummy.
This week makena is more expressive and alert... We are having a blast :)

Hospital Adventure

Mommy was in labor for 16 hours; Makena and I were really tired; so the doctor finally threw in the towel and oped for a c-section. Daddy was able to cut the umbilical cord and experience the birth of his new daughter. Finally we are gifted with her presence.
Makena was born on 07/31/08 at 5:24pm she was 7Ibs 5oz & 19 3/4" long.
We both have battle wounds from the labor. But, we are now healing and starting to bond as a family.
